PurePaw is a pet wellness app I designed for my Google UX Design certification, helping pet owners manage nutrition, vet bookings, and grooming through a simple, intuitive platform. To address confusing navigation and trust concerns, I redesigned the UX using research and testing to improve engagement and conversions.
Pet owners struggled to find tailored nutrition, relying on trial and error or generic brands. Tracking feeding habits, allergies, and vet visits was also challenging. PurePaw solves this by offering expert food recommendations, diet tracking, and seamless vet booking—all in one app.
User Research – Conducted surveys and interviews to understand pet owners’ needs, pain points, and habits.

Wireframing & Prototyping – Designed low and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, refining user flows for an intuitive experience.

UX & UI Enhancements – Developed key features, including:
Pet Nutrition product pages.
Improved site navigation.
Appointment scheduling.
Diet & wellness tracking for improved pet care.

Usability Testing – Gathered feedback from potential users to refine navigation, accessibility, and feature usability.

The PurePaw pet wellness app delivers an engaging and seamless experience for users to explore, customise, and purchase pet wellness products. It features:
- A visually dynamic homepage designed to captivate user attention.
- Clear categorisation of pet wellness items for different needs.
- A smooth checkout process with real-time order tracking.
This project reinforced the importance of user research in designing functional, user-friendly health tracking solutions. The iterative design process helped refine features, ensuring the app met real user needs while maintaining simplicity and accessibility.
